. As mentioned above, they will die if both of their gems are gone. It is connected to their brain in some way which lets them function. If they are cracked, the watersprite will experience mental problems depending on the severity of the crack.

 • Warm water sprites typically only eat fruits or veggies. Cold water ones eat meat primarily.

 • Average lifespan is 100-150 years.

 • Males have shorter tails then females, but not much of a difference.

 • Their skin is more like a sharks surface in terms of texture. Females have thinner fins then males.

 • Cold water sprites are more violent.

 • Warm water sprites typically live in groups, with one that is usually the oldest acting out as a guide to the younger ones and leading them all. They live in the same area their entire life most of the time.

 • Cold water sprites are more solitary, and either stay by themselves or in big packs. They don't stay with their parents either.

 • They can live on land, but usually don't because they do need water at least once a day to survive. This means that if they do live on land, its usually by the water. A lot of warm water sprites do live on secluded ocean shores, most do in fact, but spend their days in the water.

 • They have all kinds of personalities, however cold water sprites are typically more rugged, and a lot of warm water sprites are spoiled and carefree.

!!!NSFW INFO!!!

 • Warm water sprites typically mate with only one other sprite in their lifetime, while cold water ones will mate with several other sprites. Warm water sprites can mate with more than one however, cold water ones usually dont mate with only one, and will instead just never mate. Warm/cold couplings are not unheard of, but are generally frowned upon by both societies.

 • Watersprites do not discriminate based on gender, and will mate with whoever in all honesty. Some of the higher up families will only want to mate for heir reasons however.

 • Cold water sprites are usually more rough when mating, and males have longer tentacles then say warm water ones do. Females do not have tentacles.

 • This is what their genitals look like: http://sta.sh/0hauylzd9el So the male basically has a vagina but with a tentacle penis, which has a slit at the end of it.

 • They do not breastfeed, warm and cold water sprites feed their young fruit. They do give live births however, and the females have breasts to protect their chest! ( dumbreasonijustlikeboobs)
