This is the home planet of our beloved Tech Valix.

In the Omega sector there is a unusual red planet that orbits a sun. this planet is unusual due to the fact it has gravity and atmosphere yet it doesn't spin like other planets. while one side is teaming with life the other is desolate and dead where no life can survive. While the planet appears red from orbit, on the surface it is a clear blue sky, if you are on the side facing the sun.The red tint comes from the fact that the planet absorbes the red light from the sun's rays. If you visit Omega II bring enough water for your stay, there is no water yet there is plenty of air for life to breath. Omega II is ritch in oil and minerals, so ritch that space pirates try to resource run to steal them.

there are no homes or buildings on the planet, which is strange yet makes sense when looking at the native valix race living here. The Tech valix are a highly advanced hybreed organic and inorganic race. Their origins are lost to the minerals of time. The only thing known about them is their prime directive given to them by their creator protect the world's resources to survive. They need the minerals and oil to live and function. They are only found in obundence on the light side of Omega II because they need the sun to survive. Their special highly advanced solar collection systems require red light from the sun's rays to charge and keep charged their energy levels.

There are sparse tech valix on the dark side who have managed to live with the miniscule solar energy if any that is on that side of the planet. Since the gravity is so low they have inside them a magnetic, core that can be activated and deactivated allowing them to ether levitate or walk on the planet's surface. Due to the sun being constant they dont need sleep at all. Since the planet also doesnt spin there is no weather patterns, so there is no need for homes.
They are addicted to the sun and its solar energy, thats why the dark side of the planet is almost dead. Only a few managed to live there with only a bit of solar energy.
