I've just been in a badger kind of mood lately. I just have a thing for most animals in the mustelidae family (That's the weasels, Otters, Badgers and the like), and I couldn't sleep a few nights ago and got to thinking... "I used to be an Otter, right? That was my original fursona when I joined the fandom years ago, but in hindsight, it just didn't fit me as well as my other characters did."

I thought, "What if he was a badger instead?", sure my old fursona had been 'retired' for years now, but there's nothing wrong in doing a little bit of a design exercise, right?

pose heavily referenced from this picture that Dabbird drew of our characters years ago. Sure, it would have been easier to dig up an old reference and use that as a base, but I just liked the general vibe their art has and they just get my characters in a way I used to have trouble portraying in my own art.

Probably made the legs too long, considering Badgers are known for being stocky and somewhat short, but that can be fixed if I do further revisions. There's something here that's worth tweaking in further iterations of this design.
