Luckily for Cheekers, I'm not doing a Nuzlocke run.

This is what came to mind as Cheekers fainted, and my starter (Named "Alex" after  fantasyleader's Charmander 'sona) dealt the final blow, and now I'm sitting through Brock's monologue about how pokemon up to a certain level will now obey me, and I can use the HM for Flash in the field, and blah blah blah. I just wanted to get Cheekers healed, since he did most the work, and probably deserves a celebratory pizza party or something. I mean, he practically defeated the first gym on his own, after all.
