I finished coloring this last night because I was excited and proud of myself for completing my first semester of college.

The events in Connecticut today have left me heart-broken and in tears for the 20 elementary school children who unfairly had their lives taken from them. They had hardly even began living, and will never be able to feel the enjoyment of another Friday afternoon, fun with friends, hugs from their parents, or even the feeling of successfully completing a semester in college. So, with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I'm dedicating this drawing to those children, in hopes that they may feel this type of joy in their afterlives. May they rest in peace. )':
