This was done as a "completely spontaneous opera" in which the great singer Klaxon de Brouillard suddenly rouses the French people in patriotism. It parodies both Wag the Dog and Les Miserables.
And no, I can't do French. At all. It was for fun anyway. :)
The music was done in a radio broadcast, a part of a Diplomacy game where I played the French. In the game, I knew that either the Germans or the English would attack me, so I quickly made two versions of the song, one where the people should attack "ze EEnglish scum" and one where they should attack "ze German scum". Turned out that indeed, Germany was the betrayer, so I quickly finalized and released the radio episode. :)
