A soundscape of birds in their natural element (oh, those crazy, swooping, tumbling, soaring, beautiful featheries) in the musical form of an orchestral irish jig.

No, I've never heard of West Side Story! ;) Actually, the funny thing is that I hadn't the slightest thought of the famous song from that musical when I wrote Bird Jig; the melody isn't even remotely similar, and yet you can sort of tell by the repeating rhythm that goes over two measures. Grmbl! :)

The song uses the Alesis QuadraSynth Plus Piano and a Roland U110 that I've given away by now, so I can no longer re-create this song exactly as it is on this recording.
