Flowers for tea by CeLdragon

Flowers for tea

CeLdragon

Been trying for ages with the image I had in mind ... sketch out, color ...

Fanart for Belladonna that belongs to sixrabbits

I had the scenario of my ponysona, that like both poisons and nontoxic flowers and was in need of relaxing tea. Got to hear about Belladonna and her shop.
Belladonna jumping/dancing as a little filly for the new flowers to her garden.

A friendship might have sprung forth from there, tea exchanges with flowers.

Sorry it is not colored : <
Really had trouble and just wanted to give something.

Very cute, hun. Your talent for drawing expressive eyes is as strong as ever I see.

Words are failing me right now. This is so precious, and it just gives me the warm and fuzzies! Thank you so much!
Ah Bell getting excited over plants, this is the way to her dark twisted heart

Good enough for her heart not to poison my character?
She is just after relaxing tea to help ease her mind :J

And if you are curious on the plants
      Pedicularis sceptrum-carolinum
Digitalis purpurea - foxglove <3 tho in swedish is just known as thimbleflower when translated into english
Convallaria majalis - All parts of the plant are highly poisonous, including the red berries which may be attractive to children. If ingested—even in small amounts—the plant can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, reduced heart rate, blurred vision, drowsiness, and red skin rashes. <.< I think you will like this one pretty much and it is the smallest in the bunch

Well, not on purpose at least.

It's cool to hear what plants are called in other languages. Thimbleflower sounds like a better description too.

^.^ better than nothing I guess

Thimbleflower sounds better than foxglove but then again, sweden have its own stupid names on fauna that makes one wonder if they had something before giving the name.

            Best she can promise.

Yeah, it really does. Every language has those couple of names where I just wonder about it- this is actually why I became such a nerd for language trivia, because English is such a mish-mash of random bits of grammar and words adapted from other languages. Its also amusing to hear non-native English speakers react to our weird colloquialisms (especially since I live in the South with a capital S, and boy howdy do we have some weiiiird phrases)
This one always makes me laugh
