Professor Neapolitan and Pistachio by Caudle

Professor Neapolitan and Pistachio

Caudle

Annnnd that sketch I uploaded earlier slowly evolved into this through a few artist and concepts!

"Pet me, and you die."

Here's my newest character, first sketched by   lorddirk, and then elevated to his professorial status by   kaifennec during her stream last night. (She's going to be doing streams more often apparently so do go check her out. She's go excellent taste in books, which is the mark of a good person if I've ever seen one.) Those sketches will be uploaded over the next few days.

This is, however, his final form, he was given a monstrous upgrade by   eyrich who is just AMAZING.

His name is Neapolitan. If you're curious about just why he's a pale pink snow leopard with a tail possessing a mind of it's own I did think up a little backstory. He was a professor named Humphrey Nelson, who taught transformation magic at a school for the magically inclined. He did however, expirment one too many times, and a wayward burst of magic transformed him into a bright pink feral cat with a tail that's more trouble than he cares for.

He did however, also have tenure, so they had to keep him on staff.

Neapolitan became his nickname, because his pink fur mixed with his distinctive brown labcoat reminded his coworkers of neapolitan icecream. His tail subsequently got nicknamed Pistachio for it's green maw. It stuck, and now everyone calls him that, much to his chagrin. He also has the added joy of having been a vegetarian before the transformation, but now if he lets his mind wander...well let's say don't be within eight feet of him if he's overly distracted (The tail can stretch. That long is the record, but no one's quite sure just how long/large it can get, particularly if he actually wanted it to.)

If students go missing...well you can't blame him...he had nothing to do with it...besides, he has tenure.

Anywho, that's Neapolitan. Welcome him to my little stable of characters!

This rendition of him was done by   eyrich (Go check him out. He's streaming NOW)

Neapolitan, and his tail, Pistachio, belong to   caudle and I could not be happier!
