The cross guard is an attempt at a very abstract skull motif. I find it's often too obvious in a piece. My wife and I call this problem Dr. Wily syndrome.

So this is yet another grand diaklave from exalted. Not too much to say apart from the overall length being about 7 feet. it's simple and elegant (or so i hope :P) and fairly utilitarian.
