I need to figure out what I'm doing with them!

she's a Psychemage like Kearan, and a Sugarbit, but she lives in an era long before him
her species were the first known Psychemages, eventually the powers began awakening in more species, but hers was the first to have them, and the only ones with this power for a very long time as the abilities are genetically passed on and Sugarbits can't generally breed successfully with other anthro species.

unlike other mages, they do not require a third eye to use their powers, but a similar charm is worn on the tail or in the hair for traditional reasons. this likely started the custom of third eyes being moulded into the form of giant beads.

they can also freely use both psychic and telekinetic powers from birth, while Psychemages of other species must undergo rigorous training to hone both (Antonetta did this), or deliberately shut down their species' dominant Psychemage trait to force the other into dominance (Kearan unwittingly did this). some species still are even entirely incapable of using one or the other.

they generally come in brownish/greyish colours, but their claws, flesh and long hair can be most any colour, though the dense but fluffy fur on the ends of their tails is a pale colour and traps bouyant gases, allowing them to fly. their arms and hips have between them a thin membrane for ease of gliding! they also sport wing-like fluffs on the sides of their faces, extending behind the ears. some may develop similar crests growing from their shoulders or hips, all performing a similar role to the tail fur.

the species has an acute sense of hearing and can use this to pick up on changes in heart rate of other creatures. this working in parallel with their Psychic abilities, they are quick to seek out sources of dischord and distress and ease the minds of creatures who are frightened or upset.

they are generally pretty likeable and charismatic, but it's not unusual for a Sugarbit to be born naturally predisposed towards being shy. these individuals are usually pitied and/or overly babied by the community.

the species is monogamous with two sexes, and a pair of Sugarbit will raise 1-2 litters of 3-5 kits right through to maturity. both sexes have the ability to suckle kits, and while only the females give birth, both sexes have a pouch which contains 4 extra teats and is locate beneath the thicker fur of the crotch area. they are different to other marsupials in that the young are a little more developed when born, allowing them to be safely distributed between the pouches of the parents.

Sephy herself is generally of calm demeanor, but is very engaging when she does communicate. like others of her species, she is strongly empathetic and does care a lot about others despite her outward appearance.

she is a young adult and is therefore sexually mature, but does not yet have a mate!
