Count Duckula is one of my favorite old school cartoons! Though I only saw a few episodes as a child, I remembered it being silly, but having a really awesome intro! When it finally came out on dvd, I bought the first season, and I still have fun watching it! :3

While I on DeviantArt, my account Icon had been that of Count Duckula's portrait painting seen in the Count Duckula cartoon intro, and it never once occurred to me to create any fan-art, till another artist brought it to my attention. "Y U NO HAVE DUCKULA ARTWORK? D8> " was the comment, and I was like "Oh mah gherd! You're right! I must do this! >83 ".

I didn't produce anything till a few months later, due to my forgetfulness. Finally, while watching some Duckula epsiodes one day, I was reminded how friggin' cool the Count was when he was Evil, and got inspired to create my first Duckula artwork!

For any of you who've never seen the show - Count Duckula is a vampire duck who had been accidentally turned into a vegetarian during his resurrection ritual. One of his servent's had used Ketchup instead of Blood to revive him, thus he became a vegetarian, as well as a peaceful, cowardly embarrassment of his former vampire-self. n_n;

Only a few episodes of the show give you some insight to how the Count's previous incarnations had been like, and he was a evil, vicious bad-ass! And only 1 episode of the series had featured Count Duckula temporarily reverting back into a true vampire, but it was SO short-lived that it made me sad. :<

So my first artistic contribution to the Duckula fandom is of Count Duckula, as he should of been if his resurrection had not been botched up. <XD
He just looks so much cooler when he's evil! <:3
