I commissioned Pirate to draw one of my dragon couples from Flight Rising and it same out amazingly. They are so beautiful together. Both of them are calm and gentle. They're great parents but also can be very affectionate. This picture just captures the both of them perfectly.

And if you're wondering about the name, Kuruvinda means "ruby" in Sanskrit. The name refers both to his fur and his sapphire gems which, like rubies, are made of corundum. The English word corundum is actually related to the Sanskrit word kurivinda.
