I was inspired by the new designs for several of the Freedom Fighters in the Archie Comic's recently and wanted to do my own, starting with my favorite character, Fiona Fox.

The reason I state this design as a UA is because this Fiona exists in the universe where Sonic, Mighty and Ray are actually successful in rescuing Fiona from the prison camp where they were held in. (Whereas in Mobius Prime, Sonic and the guys are forced to leave Fiona behind. Leaving her to develop trust issues and eventually follow a path of crime.)

Anyways, I really liked how I shaded and colored this. This is probably my favorite piece that I've made so far. Definitely gonna use the same technique on future works. (And maybe even Comissions!)

Due to be rescued, Fiona never develops her trust complex and never had to fend for herself by becoming a treasure hunter and a petty thief. Leading her to not meeting Nic, Bean or Bark and not falling in love with Scourge (Evil Sonic) when he ran around hitting on every woman in sight by impersonating Sonic and never betraying the FF's in the process. This also causes the takeover of Moebius and Freedom HQ and the events related to the previous two to never occur. She instead looks for her family and eventually finds her parents, who explained their reason for moving on was that they were convinced that she must've died in Robotnik's prison camp and saw no point in staying behind. The Fox family then move into Knothole and then New Metropolis after the events of issues 175-176.

Because of her managing to escape the prison camp, Robotnik isn't able to make the android that Tails fell in love with. So he doesn't develop a crush on her either and instead sees her as another big sister figure.

She also doesn't date Sonic since Scourge's attempts to woo her fell short (Kinda scaring her off and leaving a bad taste in her mouth). She instead becomes very close friends with Sally to the point of being her second best friend after Bunnie.

Fiona is a valued member of the team and serves as medic, as well as a formidable field agent on missions.
