This is a remake of a piece I painted way back in 2007

Anyone who knows me or has been watching me on deviantArt since 2006 knows that I am both a huge fan of The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean. But the two obsessions have been competing with each other for my artistic attention.

Back in 2007, when Davy Jones was winning the fan obsession war, this fight was a little tame. He begrudgingly accepted their presence. But now that TLK has made a reappearance in my life, he's fighting back ;) He's not happy to be losing the war seven years later.
