A scribble-painting I did one evening to wind down when I got tired of like a month solid of nothing but portfolio work without free time.

Jekoon has this minor fascination with parrots— probably because he’s spent enough time hearing the intelligence of his own species disregarded and not even brought into consideration, that he can’t help but think about other potential sources of intelligence which may be being overlooked.
They’re also feathered animals which are kept caged, so maybe there’s some weird projection going on there regarding his own feelings and possibly even his guilt regarding Thearen and how all of that has gone.
