Jay Cardinal is from earth; Victoria, B.C., Canada. the year is 2038. 26 years old, he works as a part-time tattoo artist, part-time exotic dancer, and volunteers at a local animal shelter. he loves 70’s-80’s music, thai food, and movies. he’s not very close with his estranged father, but is a total mama’s boy

when it is discovered he, among hundreds of others, carries a chromosome that makes him immune to a recent and devastating virus, the government puts him in a stasis pod and launches him to a medical station off-earth. but something goes wrong, and a collision with debris send him and several other pods off course. his pod is left to drift for nearly forty years, Jay left unscathed and unaffected by time. his pod is eventually found by a scout ship, captained by Kal’d

Kal’d Asos is not from earth. he was born and raised among the Pascella flotilla stationed off mars. 29 years old, he joined the military early in life, and worked hard to rise though the ranks. due to a massive blunder on his part, resulting int he death of a cadet, he was demoted. reputation sullied, he now commandeers a small scout craft, the Jargon, it’s crew even smaller. Kal’d likes to play cards, cook, and read. he has no immediate family
