Raven Nightshade really convinced me to try something new with this one. We were going to put scales on it, but was worried about it being sturdy enough for larping. This sucker was machine sewn with a zig zag stitch three times, with one straight stitch! FOUR STITCHESSSS. I wanted to make sure this baby could take a beating.
Inside the tail is two really thick wires so this guy is possable. The fluffy is actually Turquoise sparkle fur drybrushed to that darker sapphire/ navyish hue. The nice thing about the drybrushing is that when the tail moves you see a little bit of lighter tones. It's so dang pretty in person, and less bumpy looking too.

I'm more then happy to use fleece on tails now if someone wants a fleece/fur tail :3.
