I decided to draw Kurt like this when I wanted to come up with an entry for a 1960s-themed "Flower Power" art jam - rather than draw him in my usual way, I tried drawing him in a style influenced by cartoons from that decade, mostly with Hanna-Barbera in mind (I also felt this look might work better without the shorts he usually wears).
