…so the buffalo took the wolf’s hand, they both slowly turned, as if there were some unheard concert under the moonlight. Their bare hooves and paws left a trail of footprints on the wet sands.

“It reminds me of the days we spent on the bayou.” The slim wolf said.

The bull only chuckled, and kept turing the wolf in a small circle.

“Except that now you have a gut.” the wolf added. “And I grew to like it.”
