Broeckchen

Siael is the Godsona of a friend of mine. He asked me to create his reference for him. Okay, that's kind of putting it wrong, I more like... dragged him into Godmode AU kicking and screaming and promised him a reference as consolation for all the heartache he was in for.

So here it is! I'm just gonna copypaste some of is info down here:

Siael, God of Carnival and Celebration, Protector of Children, the santa figure of "Greatwill Night." Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
"A good celebration needs three things: good atmosphere, good people, and good drink!"

Powers/Domain
Siael is a peculiar god of most things revolving around entertainment. He is primarily the god of Carnival and Celebration, but he is also the god of circus, street magic and performers, parades, fireworks, carniefolk, banquets, wine, games, and storytelling.

He is an expert performer at many minor avenues of entertainment, like juggling, simple magic tricks, and the like. This has led him and Stage to become half-rivals, trying to one-up each other with their particular brands of entertainment. He has a habit of appearing out of nowhere, as if out of thin air, and cause a fair amount of mischief and fun in bleak or boring settings whenever appropriate. Siael's most definable feature is his face; being that he has no actual face, but instead a constantly morphing mass for a head, which can form into a variety of shapes and styles. It could be the face of a charming young man at one moment, a bundle of vipers the next, and then later a swarm of undefinable orbs of greymatter.

Siael isn't one to shy away from a fight if the situation called for it, of course. He is an expert swordsman, and his speed is only bested by few other gods. He can also procure illusions and traps in order to distract and entrap his opponents.

Siael has been known to appear mostly before children in times of boredom or distress. He leaves streams of paper tickets hidden about the entire realm, just waiting for children to collect them and cash them into him, where he will give them a toy or a magical trinket depending on how many tickets they give him. He has also taken the roll as a guardian deity of children, especially in light of Krystal's current condition. Legend has it that he takes abused, neglected, and orphaned children back into his realm and trains them to be carnival folk and entertainers. It is also legend that the parents/guardians of those children disappear soon after, never to be seen again, although it is suspected that Krystal may have a hand in these dissonances. The children can choose to stay in his realm and live their lives in there, growing up and having children of their own as they please, or they can choose to leave and make their own way into the world, possibly finding more refined areas of entertainment, such as comedy with Muted Mirff, or stage performances with Stage.

Personality
Siael is mostly quite suave and flamboyant in mature settings, but he can be very energetic and parentaly cautious when handling children. In contrast, he tends to get very nervous when flustered, occasionally stuttering and tripping over his words (as well as his legs). He as been known to drink from a small silver flask whenever the situation he finds himself in gets rather tense. It is said that the flask contains the most potent form of alcohol imaginable, and even though he has been drinking his own brew for centuries, it still gives him a jolt.

That isn't to say that he doesn't get serious. When angered, mostly when dealing with a child's irresponsible guardians, he has been known to lethaly serious, with all emotion draining from his facade, and letting an air of foreboding loom over the interaction. That is usually enough to jarr people into realizing that his words are inviolate. Fortunately, he rarely resorts to this emotional state. Being so serious all the time does hell to the heart.

His most famous (or infamous, depending on who you inquire) quality is his development of the Grandeur Carnival, the largest, most spectacular event in the entire realm, attracting both mortal and god alike to its wondrous and charming vibes of fortune and bliss. Other than that, he is also a avid toymaker in his spare time, and has taken it upon himself (or rather, to clear up the clutter) to deliver his creations to the children of the realm in a holiday he called "Greatwill Night."
