During our preparation session thing today I mused about Ruby's family for the first time. I ended up deciding that she's got two daddies! Nga Boh is one of them.

He's named after the Burmese Nga Boh ('Dragonlord') Ruby, to keep up the naming convention I started with Sunrise.

He's also a unicorn, with an immense talent for fire magic while not being as adept at varied kinds of magic. Using his fire as a weapon, he used to be a traveling mercenary running dangerous errands outside of the places pony society could easily reach, where monsters live. He was always more of the quiet type, never minding being underestimated until he could show his true powers. And he never got very attached to things.

Eventually, one mission he was sent on lead him to rescue Peace Ruby, a spirited pegasus of Nga Boh's age. This time, he couldn't help getting attached... and soon after, his flames would stop burning enemies, and start warming him and his beloved husband from the fireplace.

His Beautiful Brand is a crest consisting of a golden dragonscale. The crest shape because it's a symbol of lordship, and the dragon scale because of his affinity to fire.

Truth be told though, he's like 99.99% an expy-ish racebent* and speciesbent character of ParzifalsJudgment's Bennett, with the author's blessing. ;A; Idk I picked out the names and then things just... started spiraling out of control.

*racebent because if Nga Boh was a human, he'd be Burmese, and not Chinese like Bennett.
