And with that, my first attempt at part of a fursuit body is DONE! There are a couple of mistakes and things I would do differently next time, but now I feel confident that I can work from a DTD and not completely butcher it.

These pants have minimal padding in the thighs for a vague suggestion of a more feral haunch, feature a thick elastic waistband, and are held up with regular ol' suspenders. No zippers or buttons, they just slip right on. Like the other parts I've posted so far, everything is 100% hand sewn!

I've spent the last couple of days completely remaking the tail padding because the old pillow was way too heavy and stiff! This one is hollow foam. It's not as swishy but it's super easy to wear at a fraction of the weight. Don't even need a belt for it.

All I need to do now is finish the handpaws and make some sleeves \o/ Then this long-ass project will finally be done and I can move on to... other things... involving yellow fur??
