I had so much fun with this one, thanks so much for commissioning me!

This was a part of a small series I wanted to do where I worked with the client to turn their character into a Monster inspired by the Monster Hunter series! We talked through some things, tossed some concepts and ideas around, and after enough jamming, we decided his dragon, Shirunzu, would be a great dragon who crept along the walls of cliffs in a canyon oasis or valley, whose tailspikes resemble the fronds of palm trees. He'd make a canopy of his looming tail to attract prey to shade from the blistering sun, and punish them swiftly and stealthily!
