Even dragons have things to fear on this world as they bathe in lava pools. Monstrosities hide under the lava, waiting for the unwary dragon to step in the wrong pool. Thankfully, there are only a few in existence, but those few never go hungry, because no dragon ever survives seeing one to warn the others.

A personification of the monster my anger, depression, and anxiety feel like to me. Insanely massive, able to swallow a dragon whole, and incredibly difficult to avoid or fight, because usually I don't even know it's there until it already has me in its grip. Even when I fight free, the venom in its fangs poisons my memory and ability to think straight more every time I'm caught.

Maybe working it out like this will help me get a better grip on it now and then.
