It was the haul of the century, more candy than any trick or treater could ever imagine. Of course we never considered that we would run into that little pumpkin on the way back home. I don't know what possessed Lexal to pick it up, but upon further inspection it was unlike any jack-o-lantern we've ever seen. Almost a blackish orange in coloring, it's haunting grin seemed to creep across the face. Of course it took us a second to see the glow coming off of it, but by then it was too late. The feeling of fullness and straining of belt buckles was the only warning we had before the little cursed pumpkin decided we would be it's newest bloated playthings.....
