Instead of writing a "Steampunk Story", I decided just to play off the convention theme's element of anachronism when writing this. I help organize Oklacon, so I submitted this story anonymously with a pen-name, to see how it fared. It was published fairly, I believe, since no one figured out the pen name is an anagram of BlueOtter. ;)

This is a story about two older (furry) men going about their daily lives, when a strange visitor arrives, and disrupts the flow of things.

I'd appreciate critical feedback, if any's to be had. Please don't post spoilers though -- I will hide those comments.
