Did this for my mom on Valentines day :)
She used to sing this song to me-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOn-uIDk-oE
-while growing up to wake me up as a kid (also opera..she's actually an incredible singer but as a kid/teenager all you know is mom is singing loudly to wake you up! ha!)...
So the American Robin means a lot to me...also means spring has officially started to come when I see them ...:)
( Also I just love chubby fat flooofy birdies..)
Hehe Thank you for the comment! I LOVE LOVE love American Robins and they'll always be very important to me. They really are the embodiment of change/spring/new beginnings..
I GOT THAT FOR MY MOTHER WHEN I WAS LITTLE!! haha I love those things! I think my mom still has hers actually! That is ..wow MEMORIES WOW!
We have tons of them around here lately. It's got me itching to set up a feeder for them lol.
I love the look you gave this, so perfect for how puffy they get when they're chilly. I love it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I can't get over how seeing birds when they puff out like they do-brings me this childlike joy. XD
I just love it when they do that-I don't think I'll ever grow out of liking that either! ehehe
I haven't seen a robin yet, sadly! ( I guess it's still too cold here!) I hope to see some soon!

Awwww! omg that's such a cute thing to imagine your mom doing. ;u; I've never heard that song before either, it's really nice!
Gosh I love robins though, it's always nice seeing them come back after a long winter... although mother of god, I just had one of those moments where you remember suddenly remember something from your childhood! When I was little, my grandma god me this cute animatronic robin that would tweet, but also sing Rockin' Robin! Q__Q It's really obscure I think, because it was hard for me to find this youtube video of it: http://youtu.be/aGah2twVqms
