I'm afraid I don't have much to say about this one... Still trying to fight my "nemesis", digital media. 8x

The idea for this piece has been stuck in my head for several years. Originally I had planned to let his entire mane consist out of monarch butterflies, but somehow I decided against it, as it seemed too agitated aaaand I don't think I would have been able to pull this one off yet. XD Instead I went ahead and used the patterns and colours of the butterflies on the lion himself. All in all I think it's safe to say that I am satisfied with the result. *g* We'll see where I'll go from now.
