This was a commission for Exalted in 2012, who asked me to portray his two Australian Shepherds as a surprise for his wife's birthday.
If he hadn't told me that Broom (black) and Cloony (Silver Merle) were brothers, I wouldn't have guessed so. Not only do they look so different, their behaviour is also arranged at opposite ends.
I enjoyed this kind of pet portrait a lot. :D

This is absolutely gorgeous. I'm hoping to rekindle my love for oil pastels this spring and try to do my own pet portrait work. See if I can sell them at my clinic :)
