Beanie was 17 when Archer joined our little family. He was in quarantine as a new addition but snuck out and ran straight into Beanie. Three minutes later, this was happening. She was a great surrogate mama-cat for him and for Kayura when Kayura was wee. This is one of my very favorite pictures of Bean because it really does a good job of demonstrating what a big heart she had. Most cats (to say nothing of one her age) would immediately lose their shit with a newcomer in the house.
