Sort of experimenting with a painted look. I actually did this back in Easter; I was doing a female alongside this guy as well, but work happened, and now that that's done it's been so long and I am completely unmotivated to continue it right now. So, I put a background on it, and here we are.

This is my take on an earth dragon; they are about the size of a large horse, and live on the same planet as the sky (K'Sara's species) and Deep (As-yet not drawn oceanic species) dragons.

The Earth dragons are a friendly bunch, and are sapient, but they are unable to speak language as we know it; though after some learning they could understand us just fine. The Deep dragons tend to act as interpreters for them when they're together.

They aren't quite as overly magically adept as the other species; they have a passive ability to enhance the growth of plant-life around them, and they can consciously accelerate and manipulate plants to their will when they choose to. They do maintain dragon's breath, though; and they make up for their more limited magical abilities by being the physically strongest species of dragon of the three, and have the fastest land speed. They can run at over 100kph; and the strongest of them can even have a running speed to match the flight speed of the Sky dragons.

Also they like hugs.

Drawing something a little more feral was prompted by a good friend of mine. I'll probably come back to these guys later when I feel like it.

Also yes, the purple tint to the sky is deliberate; the atmosphere is largely like that of Earth, but it is a little different.

Also I referenced the walking from some images of cheetahs. I can't find the exact picture though; sorry.
