You never know what you will see on the BNSF Aurora Sub, more commonly referred to as " The Race Track" its a 3 track right of way running between Aurora Il and Downtown Chicago thru the western suburbs. Saturday Dec 27, 2014 on Amtrak train #6 the Westbound California Zephyr I found this. This is one of the brand new Siemens electric engines heading to the Northeast Corridor from the west coast. I took this picture at the Naperville Il. Metra station. I chose this location because it is also a stop for the Zephyr.
