This is the end of the line, in more then one way. The is the 93rd/South Chicago station on the Metra Electric South Chicago Branch. The branch ends here. Its also the end for the cars in the photo. The car is a Hi-Liner car This type of car was built by the St. Louis Car company and entered service in 1970 The last of these cars should be retired sometime in 2015. Photo was taken on a trip sponsored by the Illinois Railway Museum as a fundraiser to acquire a set for the museum's colection
