Stream commission from Jakkal

Wolfmage had a stream commission slot and told me the one right before his was open, so we decided to go together. Wolfmage sometimes bites in the way of greeting and there was some kind of ... interaction. Looks like these two swapped dragon and cheetah aspects and they are just... a little surprised by it. At least they didn't swap coloring though. No idea where the bandana went, but looks like Wolfmage could have used it to hold those pants up!

Don't worry, all this TF stuff generally wears off after a good night's sleep.

The formerly-cheetah character is mine. The formerly-dracowolf character belongs to wolfmage

If you like this image, please go let the artist know or even commission her yourself.

I LOVE the "What the..." expression on the used-to-be-dracowolf. XD

    • Link

I'm not sure if he's more worried about the transformation or the fact that his shorts don't seem to fit any more! He is more "WTF!" than the formerly-cheetah. That poor guy is looking more like "ewww, what happened"

      • Link

The formerly-cheetah's expression looks to ME a lot like "Dude, holy SHIT, check out the size of THIS!!!" xD

        • Link

LOL - yeah, I can see that. I wonder exactly what he's referring to the size of though? And just wait until he look up and stabs himself in the back/wings with those horns!

          • Link

Now THAT would definitely take some getting used to! ... And a few band-aids, I suspect. xD

            • Link

Yeah, I imagine it would (on both counts!). Just imagine having to get used to wings too! No flopping back in that comfy chair (ouch!).

              • Link

And imagine forgetting that you DIDN'T have them any more! I can imagine THAT being rather awkward. You know, having to explain to your friends from the hospital bed just exactly WHY you took that two-story leap off the balcony instead of walking down the stairs? XD

                • Link

True, but I think it would take a while to get used to having wings before forgetting something like that! So the formerly-dragonwolf would be much more likely to make that mistake.

My guess is that the formerly-cheetah would be making mistakes like bumping the wings into stuff, knocking stuff over, poking himself (and others!) with the horns. And probably sneaking off somewhere when nobody is watching and seeing if those wings actually work. But then not knowing how they work and... faceplant.

Yeah, I can imagine a lot of awkward things with the switch-a-roo before things go back to normal...

                  • Link

Cripes, the whole thing just has the potential to be a hilarious, comic event! XD

                    • Link

Yeah, I agree there is potential there. In particular I think the trying to fly could be pretty funny. I'll have to talk to Jakkal about that in one of her future streams!

I'm sure the Wolfie could have some similarly entertaining moments as well... For one, he's going to need something to hold those shorts up!

                      • Link

Both cases of trying to fly. Trying to fly without wings. and trying to fly with wings that he knows nothing about. XD

And yeah, he's gonna need a belt or something. Or perhaps redneck suspenders. XD

                        • Link

Yep - I totally think the flying thing has a lot of possibilities and I think I'm going for it the next chance. Or maybe the one without wings trying to tell the one with wings how to do it... "NO - not like THAT!" heh

Well these are furries, so he could just wrap his tail through the belt loops... >.>

                          • Link

A worthwhile line to follow, I think, if only for the awesomely comedic possibilities. And of course, there's always the wingless one watching and going "oh hey, I remember doing that... oooh, that hurt when I did it, too..." XD

Hmm, and that IS true, although a fairly short-term solution. He needs that for proper expression, not pants-holding. XD

                            • Link

Yeah, I can imagine there would be the "oh, yeah, I forgot to tell you, that doesn't work..." :-) And then quietly laughing. I'm guessing they bounce back quickly as long as you're not trying to learn on a skyscraper or something...

True, but it would still be better than having to go around holding them up with one hand all the time!

                              • Link

Of course, in a comic no serious injury is EVER done. Dude could spin in from three thousand feet, plow a Wiley-E-Coyote hole in the dirt, and stagger out of it with nothing more than some dust all over. 'Cause that's how it WORKS. xD

And that is true, that'd be amazingly awkward. Particularly when he accidentally reached for something with both hands. XD

                                • Link

Heh - yeah, true. Furry is that weird grey area between comic and reality though. Still... I can totally see a furry character trying to learn to fly and face planting... with no harm done. It reminds me of a pet bird I used to have, and we were trying to teach him how to fly. Yeah, the exuberance of youth. So... I know it's possible to do multiple face plants with no permanent damage done.

Less awkward than not reaching in time and having them drop I suppose! Or, yeah, over-reaching and getting a handful of... well... :-)

                                  • Link

Indeed, now THAT would be rather awkward. Not ONLY do your pants drop, you're left in a rather awkward position, for all to see. xD

                                    • Link

Yeah. Or worse, the other guy is trying to help and gets a handful of... well, you know. For all to see. Talk about awkward... >.>

                                      • Link

Dang, no kidding! "Look, this really isn't what it looks like! We changed bodies, you see, and..." xD

                                        • Link

"I was just grabbing for his pants! Oh, um, no what I mean is I was trying to keep it from going down! No, no, that's not right... um"

                                          LOL

At some point, you're better off NOT explaining...

                                          • Link

Yeah, get to a certain point, and you're just digging the hole deeper. Stop shoveling. XD

                                            • Link

Pretty much - like with the indents because we've made this whole conversation in submission comments!

But I do think I want to get another follow-up with Jakkal because I really like how this turned out. Even if the pants stayed up! LOL

  • Link

I SUPPOSE I could take the drastic step of just starting a NEW comment trail instead of progressing slowly into a single-word column stretching down half a page. XD But where's the fun in that?

I think you should at some point, because there's so darn much potential in this one. xD

    • Link

Sounds like a potential bug report for the site folk! XD

And, yeah I intend to. I'm travelling for work right now and the WiFi at the hotel seems to be blocking all the streaming sites, sigh, or I would have gone after one of Jakkal's weekend commission slots. But I suppose this just give me more time to think of something. Any suggestions ... would be appreciated!

      • Link

Honestly, just about any of the random 'flight errors' seems like it could have just hilarious potential. Heck, or even the egregious, accidental junk-grabbing, just for the tremendously amusing amount of awkward involved. XD

        • Link

Yeah, the "pilot error" thing seems like a no-brainer. When I get time that coincides with another of Jakkal's streams... I will have to bring it up for sure.

I think the "let me help you with those pants... oops" could be the same way, but I know Jakkal is pretty ... strict about adult work. I can ask her and see what she thinks though. Well, and Wolfmage too as it would involve his character as well!

          • Link

Honestly, it would be funnier if it DIDN'T show anything. XD Just implied, and let the word bubbles or something lay out the image. XD

            • Link

Yes, sometimes less-is-more. Hmm, that is something to think about. You mean like the word bubbles from above :-)

              • Link

Yeah, something to the effect of the word bubbles to the effect of "this isn't what it looks like!" or something of that nature, where it's IMPLIED what has happened, without actually showing anything at all. More amusing that way anyway! XD

                • Link

Well given the baggy pants kind of sagging down to begin with... it wouldn't take a whole lot of imagination to come up with something much naughtier than what is actually going on, true. And yes, nothing would have to be showing - and maybe that would be OK with the artist. I guess I'll just have to ask!

And the learning to fly thing is likely a no brainer - the tough part would be coming up with something that looks cute, but also doesn't just have one character face-down in the dirt. Not the best pose for a commission :-)

                  • Link

For that, the moment-before-impact shot might be the best, with a clearly death-spiral maneuver about to terminate in a face full of the landscaping, and the other character in a half-cringe supplying the "not like that!" flavour text. XD

                    • Link

Ah, yes - good idea! Yeah, I was more thinking about the "after" part. But that's a good idea. Actually, the shorts dropping could also benefit from that treatment as well (to help keep it cleaner too).
