1. The Marcel that everyone knows.

2. Max Power form. In this phase Nightmare releases energy that is over-filling his body, sometimes to fight or other times just to throw that dark energy out of his body. He has to do this at least once every 30 days or his body gonna suffer the consequences.

All his skills become more destructive causing greater pain to his opponents, but this is not the strongest transformation.

3. Super Nightmare. In this phase the red hedgehog triggers the power of the dark soul he has within, his strength turns monstrous to the point of disappearing mountains with only a charge of his power, the dark energy flowing in his body not only cause a change in appearance also in the way to act, he becomes vengeful, loses control easily and tends to mock his enemies.

4. Darkest Soul Form. At this point Nightmare turns into a sombre opponent, doesn't talk but what seems to be a quiet guy his desire for destruction dominates his body and mind, his aura surrounds his victim left in a living nightmare, not knowing what is reality and what is the nightmare, coming to a point of total insanity.

While his victim's mind fight for freedom, the gloomy hedgehog attacks the body with negative energy waves not only harm the body but also the soul of the opponent, even lost in nightmares the person can feel each blow causing excruciating damage.

His power at this point is of mass destruction, from islands to continental destruction, thanks to dark energy flowing into his body, universe power.
