    I see destruction here in a few ways; the dark red is blood-like, the arrangement suggests explosions, the harsh, thick lines blot out and seem to mar an otherwise soothing and restful image. But at the same time I see a spatter of blood; I see fireworks; I see laser beams; all destructive things in a way but also beautiful: life, beauty, science. I'm not actually sure if I like this piece or not because the dissonance resonates in a way that doesn't quite jive in my head (odd as I typically quite enjoy dissonant things).. the image actually makes me vaguely uncomfortable to look at. But having that kind of reaction can be enjoyable too in its way.
