I like the brushes you used to accomplish the effects (I believe) you are going for :) And I happen to like the addition of the birds. They make the sky feel less empty.

Haha I didn't really intent to accomplish any effect, I picked a couple of brushes which looked good for this :v

For critique purposes, I would suggest using more variations of color. If you look at clouds, there can be yellows, greens, blues, and purples, though they are extremely subtle. I like the brushes you used, though! I like the atmosphere they bring out, especially with the seagulls. Nice job.
