Charlotte Burton is responsible for construction and maintenance of the higher-end technology used in BTI, most notably the lab equipment used to examine parallel realities. While Balina is not an engineer, Charlotte is one of the few people on campus who knows how to use that shiny cube thingy to open a semi-stable connection between this world and the next. She also leads research teams in scouting realities, and has a knack for charting realities with high-priority subjects.

Usually the second-to-last person to leave campus at night, Charlotte's work ethic borders of fanaticism. Often getting so wrapped up in her work that she forgets to eat, she is probably why the vending machines can never seem to keep any of the corn chips in stock for more than a day.
