From 2013 or so. I was trying to get a gig illustrating a children's book, so I drew this as a sample. The writer liked it and picked me, but just as soon as I got the gig she told me that they were unable to get funding to publish it, so the whole project was cancelled. Ah, the uncertainty of freelance!
