Winter may be over, but here's a sharp reminder of the blistering cold we've had the past few months.

Gloria's found herself in a tricky situation. Winter has snuck up on her, and she isn't fully prepared. She does own a decent coat, but no hat or gloves or scarf, and that skirt isn't made of the thickest material ever. Though all that is manageable for her. What isn't are those flip flops on her feet. Poor girl has been walking around all day looking for a pair of boots she can afford, but keeps coming up short. Having had no luck, she walks home, not wanting to take a bus since she obviously needs to save her money. And if you try to tell her that someone without toes shouldn't worry about frostbite, prepare to get a closer look at one of those hooves =P
