Got it done! Had an interesting time experimenting with Paint Toll SAI and found that I actually like it a-lot more than GIMP when it comes to just about everything. I did still go back to GIMP, though, to do the stars in the background since it has that useful random color and size + jitter tool.

I have a rough sketch of the next page down, but like I said in my journal I'm debating on how much detail I want to put into the comic pages. I'd like to keep these pages consistently released, so I'm thinking maybe do sketching and coloring on the comic pages and then do everything on individual character pictures I'm planning on doing.
