And here we go. First page of this long term project of mine that I'm calling Ascendant Dreams.

This page is a teaser for the comic as well as a way to present the title. Speaking of the title, it will start making more sense as the story progresses.

Had some fun on this coming up with ideas for the ships you see in the first pane, though they'll probably change some as time goes on. Also had fun experimenting with different brushes and layers to get those glow effects, the lens flare, and smoke.
