I actually hadn't planned on it being specifically a husky, but when finding reference photos of curled-up dogs for the artist, most of the good ones I found were huskies, and he really liked a particular one to base the sketch on. He's a fantastic artist, so it was mostly a case of bringing a few references and then letting him do whatever and then being surprised by how gorgeous the end result was.

Fab! Funnily enough I'm also inclined towards a curled-up husky; I've had a sketch sitting on my desk for over a year now, but I keep hesitating.
