They were in danger, the future he promised to train, and as he was he was too weak to do anything to save them. He had to Digivolve further and that was something he hadn't done in a long long time. His resolve was fierce, as he tapped into an ancient power, Digivolving from ExBaoumon and into Shirdramon, further accepting his Draconic roots and ready to face the foe before them.
