“They worship me like a god! Can you blame them though?” The overweight charr chuckled, swirling the wine that filled his goblet like some pretentious human noble. Charr never succumb to such desires of decadence, but in his mind, he deserved it…

For a long time flame legion soldiers had kept their eyes on Aiden and his exploits, from heralded mist warrior, to slayer of dragons, to frontline raider, they watched in the shadows watching the golden charr grow more and more powerful with each passing day.

“We’ve finally found our one true god!”

Aiden never really fancied himself as anything of the sort, though the thought did entertain him and his ego all the same. If they wanted to worship him as a god, who was he to stop them, especially if it meant he could make the Flame Legion one less hassle for the other legions to contend with.

Oh how they worshiped him, the finest foods, the most expensive drinks, anything for their new God! But like all those in power, it soon goes to their head, or at least Aiden’s case, his stomach!

All of this only seemed to please the flame legion more, declaring that his growing stomach was a testament to his ever growing power, soon awaiting for his ascension to godhood.

“Charr need at least one God” Aiden concluded purring to himself contently as he took another swig of wine before reclining deeper into his throne."
