Kistune youkai were once normal kitsune, in fact they were a great family of pure bloods. However, a vixen named Lucy was the one who changed many a fox's fate. she was always the lesser fox, a being who was never revered for any skill or power or even cunning. They called her "Lucy Mushoku" [Colorless Lucy] for the fact of her gray dull fur. One day she met a demon, one who promised power and greatness. Eagerly, she learned his secrets and grew in strength. other foxes began to fear her, she soon became vain and arrogant, worse than what normal foxes are. She grew violent and began to create a cult of followers. Soon, the demon came to her again and asked " Do you like your new power?"
"I do" she purred.
"Then it is time for me to make my price."
Then the demon altered the cult members, twisting their bodies into large fierce demons whose wrath would become legendary in times to come.
Were the foxes unhappy? The sad part is, they welcomed the change."
