I made this back in 2013, put a LOT of effort into it. Many hours of carefully detailing that fur with a really tiny brush.

They say that there is an Espeon who lurks on the edges of a graveyard. Who will tell you your future, but only in exchange for your past. They say he is looking for someone but he can't remember who.

The rumors say that he speaks with of the ghosts of the dead.

SO,
This is Owen who got separated from his guardian Toby and met up with a Haunter as an eevee.
Tuna the Haunter promised to help him find his guardian if he helped him find someone too. So to help Tuna find his trainer, who died, he evolved into an Espeon to better feel out the realm of spirits. Over time Owen began to forget about Toby because of all the time he spent communicating with the ghosts of the dead.

He's still looking for his guardian but he has no idea who he's looking for.
Very tragic. Toby is a shinx who took Owen in as an egg.

Tuna on the other hand lost his trainer on Mt. Silver. She slipped and fell down the mountain and Tuna being the only one who could fly, went after her. She died of course, but Tuna chased her ghost a whole world over and ended up in a mystery dungeon type world. So she's reborn as a pokemon, but what kind? no idea. He's hoping she hasn't rebirthed yet.
