But hey this bottle looks great for storing myriad things from milk to potions and even bugs to hunt strangely shiny arachnids with.

All jokes aside, on this piece I really wanted to try for something new. Specifically translucent surfaces like glass. In this case I painted the 'inside' with a slightly lighter than the background color set at 50% opacity and then blended it and the edges of the bottle together. I really abused the layer functions of Krita this time in order to make sure that the cork didn't just get blended away into oblivion. Overall, I think this was a really good attempt at something totally new.
