This is Aurum, she basically can create and control molten gold. She uses her power to encase her enemies in gold
(if anyone reads/watches Game of Thrones, remember what happened to Viserys? Kind of like that) That's what the... blobs are. Gold!
This was my first time drawing anything liquidy before, but I think it came out pretty nicely for my first try! I also used this as painting practice, so that was pretty cool.
I also kind of used this as a stress relief since the only full day of school we had this week was probably the most intense one I've had this year.
I went to the nurse because of stress and she had me chill out in the back of the office for a bit
and then some friends went to guidance about stuff I've told them aaaand I had to talk to the counselor
all in one day

Very cool idea, and the shapes of the molten gold look pretty good. As someone who has worked with molten metals, this comes pretty close to looking like the real thing- I encourage you to push the contrast with the lights, shadows, and reflected lights on the blobs. Typically with metals there is a dark hard edged shadow next to the highlight- the darkness of that shadow is up to you, depending on the look you are going for, but it really helps to make it read as "metal" (even molten). Also reflections, there would be some distorted reflections in the blobs, like dashes of colors, shadows and lights of the stuff around them (plus its just fun to draw wobbly reflections!).
Sorry to hear that you had a bad day, but at least it is over now, which is sometimes all you can say at the end of a bad day. Take some time to relax and stretch.
